Job Description:
EDC Acoustics is seeking an Audio Engineer with a knack for both technical expertise and salesmanship to showcase our innovative speaker systems to potential clients. This hybrid role combines technical audio setup and calibration with the ability to communicate effectively, demonstrating how EDC’s cutting-edge solutions can transform their sound environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute live product demonstrations for potential clients, showcasing EDC’s software-defined speaker platforms.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and tailor demonstrations to highlight relevant product features.
• Set up and calibrate audio systems in diverse environments, ensuring optimal performance during demos.
• Provide detailed technical explanations of EDC’s speaker technology and answer client questions.
• Gather feedback from demos to help refine product offerings and improve client engagement.
• Travel to client locations, trade shows, and industry events as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Acoustics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in audio system setup, tuning, and calibration.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
• Technical knowledge of acoustic principles, speaker technology, and DSP systems.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and deliver high-quality demonstrations.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours.
